An AI Product-Imaging App Built for Furniture Brands on Shopify

Furniture brands sell the same piece in dozens of finishes and fabrics. Photographing every one is impossible — so we built an app that generates them from a single product photo.

The situation

A sofa in twelve fabrics and four leg finishes is forty-eight product images before a single lifestyle shot. Brands either leave variants un-photographed or spend a fortune on sets. The app had to produce consistent, on-brand variant imagery and land it where merchandisers work — the Shopify product.

What we did

Generate from one photo

Upload one clean product image; the app produces new finishes, fabrics, angles, and backgrounds that keep the piece's geometry and proportions intact.

Publish to the store

Approved images attach to the right Shopify product and variant in one click, with alt text and ordering handled, or export to Google Drive for the catalog team.

A workflow merchandisers trust

Side-by-side review, batch approval, and version history, so generated images go through the same sign-off as studio photography.

Built as a product

Authentication, team workspaces, usage limits, and a clean sign-in — a real SaaS foundation rather than a script.

Why it matters

Variant imagery is one of the biggest hidden costs in furniture ecommerce. Turning it into minutes of work, inside the platform the team already uses, changes what a catalog can look like.
